LUBBOCK, Texas -- Margaret Sawyer attended the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis representing Talkington, describing it as a remarkable and unforgettable experience.
“I did forget my skirts, but my mom shipped them to me—savior of the day, of the week!” she shared with a laugh. Despite the hiccup, Margaret made the most of her trip by participating in the quiz competition.
Sawyer says she found success in the quiz category, which encouraged her to stick with it. “It’s something I really enjoy and feel confident in, so I’m glad I decided to pursue it.”
Her journey highlights both the challenges and triumphs of competing on a national stage, showing her dedication to FFA.
