Lubbock, TX - Three South Plains students won big with their lambs at the San Antonio Stock Show.
Out of the top 100 lambs in the San Antonio Stock Show, 17 were from the South Plains. Kooper Edwards, a junior at Sudan High School, took home the prize for the Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb at the San Antonio Stock Show. We also had Rylan and Reagan Miller, a third and sixth grader from Denver City, who won high titles with their lambs.
Both Kooper Edwards and the Miller sisters have grown up showing lambs. After San Antonio, Edwards and the Millers are headed to show their stock in Austin and Houston.
